2012...A Year of Jubilee

Prognosticators have for the past years forecast that 2012 would be the end of the world. Many have focused on the prophesies of The Mayans calendar or Nostradamus and his global conflicts that will usher in a new world order in political posturing. What will 2012 really prove out to be? War or a season of Jubilee? Every seven years, the Israelite's were to set aside a time for "Jubilee". Debts were retired,  lands were restored, and the Lord would allow people the ability for sight, hearing and the favor of the Lord. (Leviticus 25, Isaiah 61 and Luke 4) At the City Church of Mobile, we begin our 7th year of ministry in February of 2012. We are declaring that the prophesies of the above mentioned scriptures will be fulfilled in a season of Jubilee here in Mobile, Alabama and in all that concerns us, our people and our city. What about you? Will you build your 2012 on the forecast of the secular agenda or on the promises of the word of God? I see seasonal change for the church. Here is why! It is just like our Lord of grace and mercy, to prepare a church in a season of doom and gloom to be a bright and shining light that will in that same season prosper, grow and increase in their influence domestically and around the world! I believe this IS a season of Jubilee and that you will see 2012 to be a great year of the FAVOR our our Lord on His people and in His church.
